We value personalized attention and strive to maximize contact hours. Contact hours means that the Teacher Trainer is physically in the presence of the student. See the curriculum description for each training program for the minimum number of contact hours.

Level One Basic Certification

Our program is for those who are seeking a deeper understanding of themselves and their yoga practice. It is also for those who wish to obtain an official "Level One Basic Certification" from Yoga for Wellness and the Yoga Alliance. All classes are taught by Registered Yoga Teachers. Upon completion of the course, certification will be determined by the instructor's assessment of the student's understanding of the materials as well as his/her capacity and ability to teach a complete yoga class. Yoga posture poses are known as asanas. There are thousands of poses and part of the art of yoga is knowing which ones to do to achieve your goals and in what order.

Namaste

Namaste is an Indian expression used as a greeting or upon parting. It is usually accompanied by placing the hands together in a prayer position. The expression is used, in part, to convey that we are equal. We strongly believe that at our studio. During our sessions, we cover the significance of the word and its many meanings.
